ISI Society (ISI-S) on Revised 99.9th Percentile List

We've added a new High-IQ Society to our list of those for which documented membership is considered qualifying for membership in the IQuadrivium Society. Our How to Qualify page has been modified to reflect this. ISI-S now joins the International Society for Philosophical Inquiry (ISPE), the Triple Nine Society (TNS), and the One in a Thousand Society (OATHS) in this distinction.

Privacy Policy Forthcoming

I'm working on a Privacy Policy for the new site. As we have both a public area and a private members' only area on the same site, it's not always readily apparent which bits of information are shared with search engines and the public and which are not. This is one issue that will be clarified in the new Privacy Policy.

If there are any specific issues or points you'd like to see addressed in the new policy, please let me know.

Blog Now Integrated into Website

In the interest of keeping things simple and streamlined (and eliminating duplication of effort), I've integrated our existing blog into our new website using an IFRAME embed. The current blog that was one of our member blogs has now been deleted and any pertinent posts moved over to the regular blog.

This has some distinct advantages for the Society, in addition to those listed above. For one, our public blog posts will be spidered by search engines, thereby adding one more site where IQuadrivium is listed-and making it easier to find.

There is a possibility we'll do a couple of things with our "official" blogs. One is that we may invite some of our members to post news on our official public blog (the one you're reading). Another is that we may move our members' only blog here as well and, for purposes of privacy and confidentiality, add only our current members and subscribers to the list of authorized viewers.

IQPoints Program Status Update

I'm still working on fleshing out and adding many features and applications. As some of you are garnering a lot of IQPoints, I'll be getting the "award schedule" put together soon. As a reminder, you can earn free merchandise for participation (IQPoints) as well as actual cash money for referring other members and subscribers (SmartBucks).

New Temporary Email Address

While all these changes are taking place (server, domain propagation, etc.), our regular email address is bouncing. Please send any email inquiries to admin [at] karynpeters [dot] com until further notice.
I'm sending a copy of this by email to all members and subscribers so they are aware of the temporary change.
I suppose you could say it was overly-ambitious of me to do all of this in just a few hours, but I couldn't help myself. ;-)

Site Cutover Begun

Earlier than expected, I've begun the site cutover. All current members and subscribers have received an email (two emails, actually) with essential information concerning the new site and transfer of their member accounts. These emails contain information about how to logon, as well as initial password and security question settings.

The domain propagation is currently being processed and will be completed within the next few hours, at which time the iquadrivium.org domain will point to the new site.

New Site in Beta

It's only been a few months since we launched our "Tiki-Wiki" site, but it's time to upgrade big-time and launch a new beta site with an unprecedented number of features and level of user-friendliness.

The current site at http://iquadrivium.org will remain online and functional until we're ready for the offical cut-over, by which time all members and subscribers will have been moved over to the new site. At that time, the old site will go offline and the domain will be pointed to the new site.
